1ST EVER CHRISTMAS NIGHT IN CRESCENDO

19th DECEMBER 2014- The First ever Christmas night was held in Crescendo International College on 19th December 2014. This Christmas Night was organized by the Event Organizing Committee (E.O.C.) of Crescendo International College following the Halloween Night. The initial aim of organizing this event was to gather the members of Crescendo during the Christmas season, and also let the Crescendo fellows to know each others well.

Participants arrived and started their registration by 6.30pm. Quite a number of participants brought their gifts for the gift exchange sessions. As promised by E.O.C., attendees were served plenty of delightful Christmas dinner, including the main courses: spaghetti, salad and chicken chop provided by Chef Chef catering service, and also the side dishes provided by the main sponsor of the event, the COOKIES & GINGER restaurant who presented Nachos with Cheese, Buffalo Wings(Chicken wings) and also French Fires which even glittered the dinner. Cookis & Ginger is a western restaurant located at Adda Heights, well-known by their large portions of dishes at extremely reasonable price. A big plate of 1/4 Chicken served with coleslaw and fries at only RM12nett. Other dishes including Spaghetti, Steak, Lamb Chop, Burger and more would even give a bombastic feel in your mouth.

The event officially started at 8.00pm with a funny opening talk by M Jay Raj and Zxara Tan. With their interesting conversation, they invited the president of E.O.C. for Opening Ceremony and by that he announced that Christmas Night begins. He appreciated the arrival of every participants of Christmas Night and he hoped that everyone would enjoy the event.

As the Christmas Night begins, the B.O.B. live band (Best Of the Best) presented a Christmas song - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, followed by a mash-up of  Price Tag and Hey Soul Sister which were led by the vocalist, Sam. Following, an LLB student Nithiya, as an experienced singer showed her gifted voice by singing "Little Drummer Boy" without any background music.

The climax of the event was then  by the Diabolo performance brought by our LLB student, Brevia Wen Qian and her team of 5 people with the superb and highly technical Diabolo tricks. The performance was presented by four parts which non of them failed get attentions and cheers from the audience. These include single Diabolo, double Diabolo and even triple Diabolo in one shot.

It was then followed by Nithiya's singing of "Underneath the Tree" which brought the event into a cheerful moment.

B.O.B. then continued with their song "Rude" before the arrival of the Santa Claus from the North Pole, riding a Yellow Cab. Every participants were given a Chocolate bar from santa, which was sponsored by Mr. Andy Huan who again sponsored the E.O.C.. While giving the Chocolate bar, B.O.B. again presented the songs "All of Me" led by E.T. the bassist. The best part was the song "Apologize" by Hilmy the guitarist which he added raps to the song, making his own cover. The song was enhanced by the guitar solo part rocked by Ronnie Ng and also the cutest drummer Jerome with his best of the best beats.

The event was then carried on with the gift exchange session.those who brought their gifts were able to exchange their gifts with people whom they may know who they may not know. They had a chance to take picture with the Santa Claus while having their gifts.

By the ending of gift exchange session, the participants were brought to the game stations brought by the Game Team of E.O.C. Lam Jing Xing, a participant of the Christmas Night when interviewed, said that the event was great, especially the games prepared, including the telephone charade, baseball challenge, one minute booth, and the blanket challenge. The participants who played the game were awarded a special bookmark handmade by the Committee members of E.O.C..

The event came to a little exciting atmosphere when a group of outsiders as representatives of a church, bringing few Mandarin hymns.

Around 11.00p.m., M Jay the Emcee brought on his favorite song, "Better Man" which won the cheers and grand loud applause from the audience. He then dragged Kelvyn Lee together to sing with him.

The Christmas Night eventually ended by the "Jingle Bell" rock style by B.O.B again where all of the committees of E.O.C. were on the stage, and bow to thanks the attendees by the end of the event.
